The Second Coming Christ and The Tree of Life

The Cure of Death

Most Christians are familiar with the story of how death came to be. It was Adam and Eve’s sin of eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden of Eden. As a result, all mankind is mourning in the agony of death. However, the cure to death was not far from them either. This was exposed after they had sinned by eating from the forbidden fruit.

Genesis 3:22-26 “The man has…he must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever…placed on the east side cherubim and a flaming sword … to guard the way to the tree of life”

What was the cure to death? It was eating from the tree of life. So even sinners can live forever if we ate from the tree of life.  However, God blocked the way with a cherubim and a flaming sword. Since then, the tree of life has remained a mystery. That is why we have all come to die having no access to eating from the tree of life. Good news is, there is a revealer of mysteries.

The Tree of Life: A Mystery

Matthew 13:34-35 “Jesus spoke… to the crowd in parables… ‘I will open my mouth in parables…utter things hidden since the creation of the world’”

Christ is the one who reveals things hidden since creation. This includes the tree of life which has remained a mystery since the creation of the world.

The Reality of the Tree of Life

John 6:53-54 “…whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life…”

In the garden of Eden sinners could live forever by eating from the tree of life. However, according to Jesus, we have to eat his flesh and drink his blood to live forever.

Eating Jesus’ flesh and drinking his blood has the same effect as eating the fruit of the tree of life. Therefore, the reality of the tree of life hidden is Jesus’ flesh and blood.

Where to live eternally?

Revelation 21:4 “then I saw a new heaven and a new earth …there will be no more death…”

Everyone wants to live forever but on this earth our span of life is very short; seventy or eighty if we have the strength. The world where there is no death is the Kingdom of heaven. In order to live in such a glorious place, we must eat Jesus’ flesh and drink his blood.

Then, what is the way to eat Jesus’s flesh and drink his blood?

Passover: The Ceremony of Life

Matthew 26:17-19 “On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover? … So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

Matthew 26:26-28 “…Jesus took bread …saying ‘take and eat this is my body’. Then he took a cup…saying ‘this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins’”

The Passover bread and wine is Jesus’s flesh and blood. Therefore, the way to eat from the tree of life which has been a mystery is by eating the Passover.

Christ The Revealer of Mysteries

However, despite the importance of the Passover, many churches do not keep it today. This is because the Passover was abolished in the council of Nicaea in 325 AD. Since then, the Passover became hidden once again. Then who can allow us the Passover which has become a mystery? It is only God. He is the only one who can allow access since he blocked the way in the first place.

John 10:10 “…I have come that they may have life and have it to the full”.

The Second Coming Christ

When the tree of life became a mystery, who brought us its reality? It was Jesus Christ because he is God who blocked the way.

Now the Passover is being kept by the members of the Church of God all over the world in these last days. Then who has restored the Passover which became hidden for 1600 years? It is Christ Ahnsahnghong. Christ Ahnsahnghong is the very second coming Jesus and God who has restored the Passover allowing us to eat of the Tree of life once again. We must believe Christ Ahnsahnghong and press on to know him.
